Craigs List

It is a god sent…..

I’ve tried Monster.com, HotJobs.com and some of the others along the same lines.. They suck… Point blank.. :-) The jobs they post are specific to the point of a needle and its obvious they are a company’s way out of loopholes where they are required by law to advertise but are not really looking to hire anyone, BECAUSE they already have and know the person they are going to hire.

Now Craigs List, is for us normal people looking for jobs, and not the needles in the Hay stack that have exactly 8 yrs exp in Oracle, 3 yrs of which writing PLSQL, and ColdFusion, with .net exp, and 12 yrs C++ exp, specializing in securities and derivatives with a financial educational background.

So to get back to what I was saying in the first place.. I have been using craigs list and have been getting quite a few interesting leads.. A couple of days ago I posted my Resume out there and I’m getting even more responses.. Now I have to make decisions.. And validate each offer against the other. I’m also still open to offers, I have still not come across that perfect job.. well lets hope something comes along soon..

Cheers for now…

About AbraCadabRa

For someone who blogs, I really hate writing about myself so I'm going to very briefly write about some of the things that interest me. To know more about myself I would say reading though my rants and raves of life should satisfy that urge quite adequately. I am fascinated by the world of Magic, the Mystic and Mysterious, the Unexplained the Bizarre. The culinary arts, Good food, Graphics Design and Digital Photography. Jewelry and Jewelry Design. I also like to put my two cents worth in on anything that interests me. Hence existence of this blog. I hope you enjoy reading through these posts as I’ve had thinking these out and writing them Cheers.
