The call of the baldy man

For those of you who are familiar with British comedy, the term “The Baldy Man” brings back treasonable memories of the side ticking 1995 BBC show, rightly titled the “The Baldy Man”. No. This article has nothing to do with this show. It has however lots to do with me getting the crazy urge that I get; ohhhh once every while to shave my head.

According to those that do the shaving, I have a perfect head to carry of a nice shiny dome. Nice and round without any weird bulging dunes or cavernous creeks. I’m sure they see lots of heads every day, being their source of bread and butter, so they must know what their talking about.

So why the hesitation over this course of action? Its simple my dear Watson someone else might says, in this case I’ll quote good ‘ol Newton. That’s “Sir Isaac Newton” to those who don’t know who he is. Every action has an equal and opposite reaction. (see I was not sleeping all the time during physics class, only 75% of the time) In this case, the reaction is I WONT HAVE ANY HAIR THEN. I love my hair.

The flipside is that I get bored very easily and right now I’m getting tired of my current hair do. Alternately I would consider a variety of options, braids, coloring, deadlocks etc… but let just say I have lots of people who are dead against that. So my alternative; To shave my head. It’s been quite a while since I last shaved my head. As I write this article its becoming more and more tempting to just go ahead and shave… the little voice inside is starting its chant, “shave, shave, shave, shave”.

I think I’m going to go to Wogies and think this over while engulfing a simply fantastic cheesesteak.
