There is something very compelling about negative space. It can both tell you so much and leave so much to your imagination both at the same time. I hope you enjoy this picture of negative space and cadles that i shot.
Here is another variation of the same picture..
Stanford University is such a wonderful campus. Set in the heart of sillicon valley it boasts the title of being the ivy league college is that fresh and not stuffy. Its stately buildings and rolling gardens are an absolute beauty to walk through and see. I recently vent on a campus tour and snapped some pictures which i’ll upload soon.
This picture was taken by me for an article in the Sunday Times for SL2College www.sl2college.com which is a forum of Sri Lankan’s who have studied abroad who are dedicated to answering questions from Sri Lankan’s in Sri Lanka who want to study abroad.
Sunsets are absolutely beautiful to watch. They pass on such an amazing feeling of serenity that you cant help but feel no matter how busy or hectic your day may be.
I shot this picture at the wharf in Redwood City while waiting for the July 4th fireworks to start. The timing was perfect with two canoeists paddling their canoes right across the reflection of the setting sun.
I hope you all enjoy this picture!
I took this picture walking around Cupertino in Northern California. Having moved to North California a few months before winter hit the rest of the country, I looked at the greenery around me and though that this must be what it would be year round. Everything looks so lush and green compared to the east coast where I’d be looking at dried up sticks and twigs for 4-5 months out of the year.
I was in for a surprise. Come spring the gardens around me started to blossom and give color to what was already a lush green background to start with. The result is that every time I walk though a residential area, especially in an area like Palo Alto, I feel like I’m walking though the Botanical Gardens. I’m greeting with a rainbow of roses and flowers of all types and form and scents.
I hope you enjoy this picture.

I took this picture at the Monterey Bay aquarium. Another picture from a set of underwater life pictures I took like visiting, that I’ll be posting here.
I love the deep intensity of the blue in the background and jelly fish look so awesome. isn’t it ironic that the most beautiful objects are the most deadly in this world?
A hammock, nice chilled lemonade and the sounds of the ocean beating on the beach. Seems like your in heaven. ohh wait, we missed a major part of this equation. The palm trees swaying in the breeze. There is something about about the sight of palm trees that just make you think of tropical islands where people don’t have a worry in the world.
Apparently the same applies for the underwater world. I captured these underwater palm trees at the Monterey Bay Aquarium. Absolutely wonderful!
Stuck here above ground we don’t really know the wonderful beauty that awaits us under the wast expanse of water surrounding us.
This picture was taken at the Monterey Bay Aquarium, and gives just a glimpse of what the underwater world holds for us.
