7 Things about me that no one is really interested in knowing

• I am a photographer. My equipment of choice is a Canon 40D and you can see some of my pictures here
• I love food. Like any Sri Lankan, good food is something to get excited about. There is nothing like a good steak or leg of lamb roasted to perfection
• I’m lazy and am quite happy surfing the internet for random bits of information that I think is interesting or out taking a hundred gazzilion pictures of a rock formation
• I am a user experience designer by profession
• I like Yani and Kitaro. Deal with it
• I am a HUGE fantasy buff. Not the tech out of space type fantasy but the type involving magicians and ancient kingdoms and sorcery etc… I am very picky about my fantasy. [Why does that just sound wrong!]
• I love comics and Anime. Tin TIn, Asterix, and Naruto to name a few

Ahh and the list has ended. I’m sure there are more if i pick my brain enough but the list allows me no more.

I heard thunder and saw lightening last night! How amazing!!!

People tend to miss the strangest of things when not exposed to it. I mean, who would have thought that thunder and lightning were things to miss?

Sri Lanka had some of the best thunder and lightning out there. New York had some occasional breakouts that might have caused a tiny tot to crawl under the bed, but since moving out west I have not heard a single rumble since last night. YAY! I finally feel at home.

It’s one of those things that just make everything else seem weird when it’s not there. I really don’t quite know how else to explain it.
